"When faced with a mountain, I will not quit. I will keep on striving until I climb over, find a pass through, tunnel underneath, or simply stay and turn the mountain into a gold mine, with God's help."
"Excellence can be attained if you care more than others think is wise, risk more than others think is safe, dream more than others think is practical, and expect more than others think is possible."

Both of these were taken from Tim Gribben's funeral program 7/31/09

"Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal."

I found this one when I googled what to write on a sympathy card. Sometimes finding the right words can be so hard.

Give those who find fault or who are confrontational a silent blessing and remove yourself from their energy as quickly as possible.

For my 40th birthday, my aunt gave me a perpetual flip calendar. Everyday has a "thought" about Inspiration by Dr. Wayne W. Dyer. I'll admit that I don't read one everyday...but on July 9th, I read the one above and for some reason it really had an affect on me.
It seems that everyday there is someone in my life that is confrontational or finds fault in others and doesn't hesitate to point out those faults. Sometimes I find myself doing those same things. This little inspiration really made me think about how I don't want to be that kind of person. I want to look for the good in people. I don't want to spend time putting other people down - even the people that have a tendancy to bring me down. I am trying so hard to recognize people who are negative toward me or toward others and rather than letting them influnence how I feel about someone - I'm going to give them a silent blessing and not let what they are saying bring me down.
